Since getting on SA a few years ago, I think I've had only 2-3 ask for money upfront. That was usually followed by a bad lay, but never a scam.

At about 11 pm, we meet in coffeeshop parking lot, have a little chat, everything seems normal. She drove her own car. Obviously a transactional hookup.

We go to my place nearby, she parks on the street 100 feet away instead of in my driveway, my driveway can be a little tight, so I didn't think much of it.

We have a nice convo for 20 minutes in my kitchen, she tells me all sorts of life details, seems legit. Other than going into kitchen bathroom to take a phone call.

Onto the bedroom, she asks for the money upfront. I know it's a red flag, but it seemed to make her more comfortable and HX dates are usually upfront (remember, this is pretty transactional) so I gave it to her. She then immediatly goes into the bathroom, shoes, phone, and all. She turns on the bathroom fan as most people do. I was definetly alarmed now and stood post between the bathroom and exit to my house, so there was no way she was going to get past me.

After several minutes of not hearing much, I finally knock on the door. No response. I grab the key and open the door, half expecting her to be passed out, OD'd, or otherwise incapacitated, I mean where could she have possibly gone?

So the (I)nstagram app used to be a great screener for me after I got girls numbers to make sure they weren't a fake but they seem to have removed the ability to manually sync contacts so it's pretty much useless now. Anyone have another way of doing this or a work around?

My first thought was "I'm impressed" . . . She really got me. This girl is certainly a professional thief, been doing this sort of shit her entire life. Although I never saw or heard him, I suspect she had a male accomplice outside my door in case things got physical.

Props to you for sharing a tale that most would not admit to. I think you deserve more sympathy than you've gotten. We've probbaly all felt for scams and it's just a matter of how hard.

I might have pushed harder on that last scenario though. If you had a big size advantage on that guy you may have been able to get your money back. If it became clear to him he couldn't bully you physically what could he do? Maybe you could have turned it around and made him scared. But maybe you were smarter to show restraint, you never know if someone has a weapon.

Actually not escalating physically was probably the ONLY good decision he made that entire story. Yes, maybe it wouldve worked out, but like you said, you never know what weapons they may have or what. Its just not worth it. The L was taken on every single decision he made leading up to that point.

Her response was all of them and what she was told by SDnwas they just get a bad batch and it was chump change on what they lost. My second thought was, I could care less about the money, but knew that it would affect my trust. Sure enough, a date with a local girl a week later went south when she took too long in a restaurant bathroom (not paid yet, but triggered my trust issues).

I have no problem with this story. You did not get "taken" you were the victim of a crime. The stories were some dud is as hard as a turtle, calls for outcall, and a girl comes over and basically asks for 200, then 400 then more to do nothing and then runs out when the driver comes out, that is being taken advantage of.

This woman must have literally cased your place in advance or something and gotten a text from daddy and was told to climb out.

I admire that ingenuity.
