I didn't ask about the recording, but she is certainly not trying to hide it from anyone, as the view was on the phone propped up on the dresser. She had mentioned in times past that she had a friend who watched the stairs when a new handle / person visited to make sure it wasn't cops or the Ex that we've all heard about. She said now that she and the friend had a falling out, so she wanted some way to see what was coming.
