Is this a legitimate thing to seriously hold you back on? Is it happening often and is there any legit warning it's coming? Feels like the news reports hit hard in the late winter and early spring of each year.

Best plan keep it simple. Less us more. Just ask hey can we meet up? I got like 30 or 60 minutes to spare. Never talk about doing any acts. Never send a photo no matter what. Why? Well if it's a sting they got you already and say it's a legit person they can try and ransom it for more money. Never ever pay a booking or deposit fee. Always do a LEO check. Avoid hotels because they have cameras everywhere documenting you being there. Glendale and Oak Creek are hot spots for sting ops.

The approach I take is to say as little as possible via phone / text. At most I would ask "Are you available for appt at 5 for a half hour". If I get any kind of explicit negotiation, I call it off. I typically only go to girls that have been online for at least a year. Preferably with the same phone (but not always, since they change it up more frequently than I'd like). I don't negotiate. I check the room / bathroom / closets for people. I drop the money and see what happens. It's a bit of a gamble, of course, and isn't fool-proof, but it's kept me out of trouble for many years.

There are LE stings, but they're relatively few and far between. They tend to happen more frequently in hotels near the airport (in Oak Creek in particular) so I always go with the rule to never meet someone for the first time in a hotel in that area.

There are no guarantees when reaching out to any of the ladies, but here are a few tips to help tilt the odds in your favor. Look for ladies that have had multiple positive reviews. When you look at the ad and see a phone number with an area code that you don't recognize it's a possible red flag. Google the phone number to see what pops up. When you see an ad with multiple payment options, especially credit card numbers, be leery. When the pictures look TGTBT, they probably are. Look up the pics through google or tineye. If the ad shows pricing that looks TGTBT, it is fake. If anyone is requiring payment in advance, stay away. You will be ripped off. When meeting up for the first time, you can park a bit away and let her know that you are almost there. Look at the parking lot to see if you notice any LE vehicles pull in or if you see her get out of a pimp's car. If you notice anything suspicious, leave. That is my biggest worry as well in this hobby! I am not a long time member here but have been in the game for four years now and always have them come to me at my office, it's not 100% fool proof but it gives me the sense of security.
