Out of curiosity, why shouldn't they raise their prices when literally every service sector in this country regularly raises their prices over the years? That's not how economics / supply and demand work for anyone else so why should they adhere to it?

Most service sectors shouldn't raise prices either, it's related more so to greed than economy. If there is an actual product, sometimes the product cost increases and a company has to offset that cost with higher prices. This hobby is strictly a service and most are of mediocrity level. Additionally, even on an average of 2. 5 to 3% annual pay increase for the average employee, provider increases far exceed that, mainly with their ss and hh rates. Also, many legitimate "services" will provide a discount or monetary return if you aren't happy with the service. In this hobby, you'd be lucky to not get robbed let alone, receive a guarantee of service.
