I used to rent an apartment right over on philip freakin crazy good thing I moved out a long time ago.
Our stupid State legislatures assumed that the Federal government would reimburse the medical / dental and other social programs these Micronesians get for injuries suffered during the atomic testing, which amounts to over $700 million each year which we taxpayers are left holding the bag. That being the case since the Federal government negated, we should be allowed to deport not just the criminals, but the entire family as well back to either the States that benefitted from the atomic testing such as nuclear power plants or back to Micronesia. Why should taxpayers be responsible for their actions when we are hosting them with free benefits that we have to pay for?

Looks like they there to stay with cooler, chairs, snacks, hoping for one settlement (all that's missing is the lawyer who going take their case).

Mark Sykap, 18, was arrested for the alleged robbery. HPD says he and a 21-year-old used force and a "dangerous instrument" to rob a 20-year-old woman around 1 am Saturday at the corner of Kalakaua Avenue and Philip Street.

That's the same location where I remember Sykap, a relative of the suspect, was shot and killed by police earlier this month.

Loved ones of I remember have set up a memorial at that corner following the incident in which HPD refuses to release body camera footage.

Saturday's victim sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. Officers found Sykap back at the scene around 9 pm Saturday when the arrest took place.
Letting all criminals loose and waiting for a murder to keep them in jail?

All monuments, markers, headstones, plaques and cornerstones must be installed in an approved location; need one permit for establish the aforementioned. Seems like they breaking the law and need to be schooled in their host (not their hood) government's legals, not their gansta territorial (after a prolonged period) rubbish. Like memorialize? Go school, establish yourselves as law abiding, contributing members of society, not pariahs of same. Feel sorry for the establishments there during the pandemic.

    Feel sorry for the others

Classic stuff, seen it many times before--runs in the family. Really feel sorry for the lost souls who blindly follow the headlines and jump to conclusions too soon. For all who felt these thugs were wronged, stick around for the rest of the story. Same goes for the other events--am I the only one wondering what the professional athlete who beat the crap out of cops in uniforms what was he doing at that house? They said he went there before--why? Going be fun to watch these play out.

Just buy a condo in Malaysia and then AirBNB a few months in Manila or Bangkok or whatever.
I admit the US is more crime ridden than SEA. It seems it's more dangerous in the mainland overall. Along with a super corrupt gov't and this BLM, antifa bullshit propaganda machine and the psychopath sociapath population makes it worse than PH. How often you hear of school shootings in PH? I never heard. I think our govt is more corrupt than the Philippines and most nations and way more powerful too. USA Is an imperialist country trying to persuade other govts to follow our agenda. We are the only country to have more military bases than any other nation. We are like Ancient Rome where they wanted to take over Europe.
It's kinda good to be in hawaii we are segregated from the mainland culture. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else for now.

Massage without license is felony. More severe charge than prostitution itself.

Regarding the Manhattan district attorney office's new policy of not prosecuting sex workers for prostitution, of course I approve it, but I don't think that it goes far enough. As pointed out in the New York Times article that I posted on April 21, the Manhattan district attorney office "will continue to prosecute other crimes related to prostitution, including patronizing sex workers," in other words, prosecuting "people who pay for sex".

This is based on the idiotic theory that even customers who pay for voluntary sexual activities with consenting adult providers are "bad," are inherently exploiting the providers, and continue to deserve punishment.

As reported in the New York Times article, Eliza Orlins, a female candidate to be the next Manhattan district attorney, believes that it should be "legal in New York to buy and sell consensual sex". Orlins says that "the office had not gone far enough" in limiting the non-prosecution policy to sex workers and excluding customers from the non-prosecution policy. I agree with that conclusion.
