I think this thread should be changed to The Extremely Biased Thread. You all make valid points on occasion but leave a lot of empty holes as well. I personally liked Trump, for the most part, and would vote for him again but he would have zero chance of winning. Now if only the Republican party can find a good, non-politician type of candidate who doesn't take shit from anyone but also doesn't stay on Twitter and put his foot in his mouth.

China tariffs that put a serious dent in the American economy and strengthened China's trade relations with Europe and Asia. China is still laughing at Trump over that one.

Stacking SCOTUS with radical nutjobs which directly resulted in Biden expanding the Supreme Court to 13 justices that will totally eradicate any right wing agenda for the next 60 years. Got to thank him for that fuckup.

He was being fought and opposed the entire way by Reps and Dems.

He had support from both parties. Amazing what happens when the two sides can work together.

They did through the Tariffs and the Dems, who controlled the purse diverted the money other places.

Trump's threat to impose crippling tariffs on Mexico was yanked back from the precipice nine days later, this after he supposedly struck a deal on immigration with the Mexican President. Turn's out the deal that Trump was trying to sell as a result of his tariff show down was actually done several months ago. The guy just can't ever tell the truth.

So, to summarize, Mexico and the USA agreed to the same deal again after 3 days of intense negotiations? Must be some special art of the deal. We call this a shell game with three empty cups.

How so?

Trump was a serial violator of his oath of office as set forth in the Constitution. In the first part, presidents swear to "faithfully execute the Office of the President of the United States. " This is a pledge to properly perform the three jobs the presidency combines into one: head of state, head of government, and commander in chief. In the second part, they promise to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. ".

First, Trump failed to put the national-security interests of the United States ahead of his own political needs. Second, in the face of a devastating pandemic, he was grossly derelict, unable or unwilling to marshal the requisite resources to save lives while actively encouraging public behavior that spread the disease. And third, held to account by voters for his failures, he refused to concede defeat and instead instigated an insurrection, stirring a mob that stormed the Capitol.

One could say the same about any POTUS. Ever seen a perfect one?
