So, I changed my diet (and immediately lost 15+ lbs), started taking meds for blood pressure (it's now 122/75), started taking testosterone pills (which give me much more energy and makes me want to fuck everything that moves and probably some things that don't move). I'm still on the fence about the C-Pap, I don't like the idea of sleeping with tubes attached to me, but if I use one and feel much better then I'll probably end up doing it. There is zero reason that you should have limp dick at 49.

I would heartily (excuse the pun) recommend the CPAP. As a heavier monger, and older, it has saved my life. I had a sleep study, they came in a panic in the middle of the night to pump me full of O2, my oxygenation was like 35, they thought I was going to stroke out on them right then. I used to have terrible reflux at night, as well as other issues, CPAP changed all that. In testing after, they found I had all ready hard a small stroke years ago. They could see it on the MRI, old though, but scary enough. I've been using my mine for 20+ years now. I could never sleep with out it again, carry one on my Harley when I travel, have one in my toy hauler, any chance that I might be invited to stay the night with a honey, have a travel one as well. White noise, good oxygenation, life is much better now. Just my 2 cents as it is an important issue. It takes a few days to get used to it, especially at the pressure I needed but it turned out to be a godsend. Good luck.

I'm in my early 50's. What I've noticed makes a big difference is the provider attitude. When I have performance issues, it's because I feel rushed or unwelcome. When the girl is acting like she is REALLY into me and REALLY happy I'm there, there's never a dick issue. So the problem might not be your hardware, but the software. Maybe try a more GFE-attitude provider?

It kinda depends on what's behind your ED.

I would suggest going to a urologist. There are several oral options that are easy to try at different dosages and are effective for most.

However, for my situation, Viagra and the other oral meds were not effective.

Trimix is the absolute magic bullet as it doesn't work in the same way as Viagra. Trimix works directly on the erectile tissue itself and doesn't require a nerve response in the same way that Viagra does. Trimix uses a small injection a few minutes prior to having sex, and some are squeamish about the needle. If you can get past the needle, it is about as close to a miracle as I can imagine.
