Was there that day and missed the shooting by seconds. Saw him laid out on Smallwood on his stomach with his hands raised past his shoulders. I thought it was that black dude Kiara hangs out with at first, cause I saw her on the corner of Bentalou and Ashton hunched over like she was crying or something, she wasn't, she was just high.

I was told that guy that got shot was one of a group of guys that was masking up and robbing drug dealers. Apparently he'd just got back from California where his wife and kid are and was back in town for a short visit to take care of some kind of personal business.

He should've stayed in California.

Cruising the Wilkens loop last night, nothing but haggard skeletons near the circle.
