Sometimes in those instances they still ask for a deposit when you arrive to get the room number, or they may ask while your on the way. I don't think they would have multiple set ups in different cities although I could be wrong there can always be exceptions to any rule. In my experience tho these scams have usually revolve around getting a gift card rather than sending a deposit. But it's not just outcalls deposits are being requested.

I have had similar thing happened. Reached out to a provider, and all coms looking good. When I asked for address to location, it first made no sense. I googled the address, turned out to be a pizza place. I deiced to play along and asked her what kind of pizza she wanted me to bring, wha? She said. Played a bit more before I called her bluff.
