Finally going to check out NYAW.

Does it matter which number (new or old) and do I call or text?

How does it work in terms of providers. Do I ask for a certain one, or do I get to see who is free when I'm there. (Would I make an appt or day if I wanted someone specific and is that even possible.).

From what I see it's $300 now total and that goes straight to the provider.

Looks like she retired (her site and twitter are down, though her socials and website for her "day job" are still up). There's a history if you go back into this thread that led to her "disappearance" from NYC, and from what I understand, she had a rough few years as well in her personal life. Hoping she's in a happier place, shame I never got to see her though.

Damn that's a shame, but as you said, hopefully things are better for her now. Last year before Covid, I was going to be in Philly the same time she was scheduled to be there and got screened to see her, but didn't have a window (I was unfortunately there with family, so didn't have a chance to slip away LOL).
