Posts: 13634Some may claim the bill to be racist but, in effect, it's not, just political maneuvering. Anyone can bring his own food / water. IMO, the worst thing would be not having a port-a-potty because the Democrat behind me might have to smell my rosy ass. In congested areas, polling places could have long lines, so a person can go elsewhere and minorities do have cars. Worst case scenario: If I were to find out that I'd have to wait in line for 5 hours in the hot Georgia sun to vote, I'd find a different polling location and plan accordingly. We got Internet here in Georgia now!

Can't understand why everything now is about money and being a pussy. That is not how I was raised.

Fact of history is when democrats don't like something they call it racist, or sexist, or some other name to try to point fingers and get their way, they simply don't know what to do when they don't get their way. Just look at videos of them screaming and dropping to the ground throwing temper tantrums when Hillary didn't win in 2016.

The bill allows a voter to have food or water. What it does not allow a supporter of a candidate to pass out food or water, on the Behalf of a Candidate to voters in line to vote How is that racist? It Requires one to produce a picture ID to prove one is a legally registered voter. How is that Racisit?

Here in Georgia you need a I'd to purchase a gun buy alcohol even check out a library book. I'd is also required to rent a car buy a plane ticket "I wonder if Delta is going to change that?" Receive services such as cable, electricity, water ect but it's the I'd to vote that is racist.
Mexico which is a third world country has a national voter I'd law you cannot vote in any Mexican election without an I'd issued by the federal government. Seems to me like they do outclass us in one area.

So this bill does not allow for food and water to be provided in voting lines, and requires identification for absentee voting. But exactly how does this bill discriminate based on race? It's possible for any US citizen to obtain proper identification. It seems to me a bit racist to assume minorities aren't able to vote based on these "regulations. ".

You aren't ever going to get specifics from Little Georgie. He is for anything that weakens the fabric of this country by any disingenuous means possible. Why do you think he adopted the name "Soros" as his moniker?

And thus where the voter fraud is most likely to take place. Do you not understand what Abrams and her mob have done and will continue to do? Please tell us why you have to have solid identification for everything yet Fat Stacy screams that demanding the same standard for voting procedures is racist?

Posts: 1156Please try to be specific if you can
You failed to be specific, you were generalizing how exactly is it harder for minorities to vote?

Nor do I. Trump's base will eventually change the Republican Party into the party the Democrats used to be, or at pretended to be. The Democrats are the new Communist Party of America, self righteously and hypocritically using racism as their shield to hide behind as they destroy this country with Woke revenge politics.

Redneck doesn't read very well but he can tell you why page 73 of the bill is a good reason to punish Georgia and Atlanta by taking away the All-Star game. I completely agree with your assessment of the Woke Monsters. I don't agree that the next Republican president will be "evil" but he or she will have to have the same kick-ass personality as Trump to combat and defeat the Woke Monsters. They are the biggest threat to all of us.

And you might type from a position of less bias instead of cherry-picking one page that supports your narrow view. If you wish to turn Georgia into another California then that is your business. Expect a fight from those of us who don't, though.

Posts: 2341Of course it's racist. If your party narrowly lost an election because of a voter surge from mostly black, hispanic and asian folks, and if your own party's demographics are shrinking, what do you do? Do you change your policies so your party platform is more appealing to more voters? Or do you make it harder for people to vote? Apparently, if you are among the Republican leadership in Georgia, you make it harder for people to vote.

Fortunately, there are ways to fight back. The provisions that make it harder for people to vote and the nonsensical provisions can be overridden by federal legislation. The Constitution specifically gives Congress the power to regulate federal elections: Article I, Section 4 gives it the power to make or alter rules for conducting federal elections. The 14th Amendment and 15th Amendment prevent states from discriminating based on race.

But the next Republican President will be smarter, and more palatable....and even more evil. And we will largely have the Woke crowd to thank for it. They are the ones that say that "All Lives Don't Matter", and that anyone who believes in equality is "racist". And this is probably less than 50% of the Dems, but it's enough to infuriate everyone else who believes in equality for all.
