I heard from an ex Penthouse dancer that there is a new club opening at 8 Mile and Dequindre or thereabout. I think there use to be a gay club there years ago. Anyway, there is a $2,500 (not a typo) monthly admission fee for customers. I think the economics works similar to a golf club where drinks, food, etc, are assessed against the monthly fee. Obviously, such a monthly fee indicates that the club only caters to a particular clientele, which doesn't include yours truly. Just thought I would share in case anyone else has heard of such a club.

It's the same with the Hamilton clubs (Bogart's and both Henry's). A lot of activities go on but they won't risk their liquor license to allow a minor to drink. Many years ago, they lost their liquor license (I know South but all believe all of their clubs) and it took them years to get it back. I believe the only place that will allow 22 and under is Deja Vu, but I could be mistaken. You should call the places before hand so you don't waste time.
