The Seattle Clowncile has been talking about it for a while. Hopefully if they do something like this, they make the entire process legal to include the "Johns" unlike NY proposal.

The woke people of Seattle or NY will never allow it. Johns are seen as victimizers of the poor sex worker. So the woman chooses to do what she likes with her body, that's empowerment. But if you, you misogynistic pig, take her up on it, then you are abusing your maleness. And if you are white, well, then double whammy! In their world, they will position a social worker (because cops are bad) in the doorway of said sex worker, and as soon as you, the client pays her, they will take you to jail.

Unless there's some fancy legal definition of 'patronizing' I don't know about, it sounds like they'll still prosecute johns. While I'm all for the decriminalization of sex work, it probably won't do much if their customers are still criminalized. I can't think of any other market where it's legal to sell something but illegal to buy it. It sounds very progressive but doesn't seem to actually change anything. So, yeah, it sounds very much like something that we might do here in Seattle.

Saw this morning where the FDA is pausing the use of the J & J vaccine, due to reported blood clots in the brain for some women. I've already received both doses of the Moderna vaccine, but this is disappointing, to say the least. Getting only one dose sure is an attractive method. Hopefully these are very isolated incidents.

I would love to see a thread for providers who are pimped vs. Indy. I've had more than one experience where the information I got from the person I was text was aligned with the provider's expectations on allowable services. I imagine there are others like me who'd rather not waste time with the pimped.

When I saw Misty, she willingly did the job and when it came time, she went back home. Speaking with her (at least with her) she was using the agency as a way to get more business. But I guess she could have just been saying that as well.

Bellevue did a good job for me not seeing anyone that hosts there. Too big of a risk and seems most providers have moved that way.

Interesting how quite a few PLs on that other board are retiring their accounts.

I think a number of things are happening in the background over there. Some are alt accounts being found out about, might have been caught, overall the increase in costs as well as a number of other things. The one discussion over there that a newbie posted that should of raised some eyebrows but didn't was that he mentioned that he posted a review because he paid a deposit but was given the "wrong address" and then got ghosted. He mentioned that for the next 48 hours he had to work with that site to get the review removed because of the threats he was both texted and PM'd saying he was a liar. Didn't sound like he would be allowed to post an alert. The culture over there is so much towards the provider being always right. Even if the girl messes up, the guy needs to pay for the mistake with either $ or their reputation. I think some are just fed up with the prices and toxic culture over there.
