It would be procedurally trivial to do a long term stakeout and gather evidence of crimes that occur that occur in a massage parlor or any other business. But it would be expensive and time consuming and there are other disincentives, some of which are mentioned in this thread. LE knows what's going on in these places, just as they know people are driving 80 mph on 285 all day every day. Government prosecutors know this too. And yet it continues because we as a country have long ago decided that there are other priorities.

I've heard stories like that but never ran across it in the States; however, during Desert Shield / Storm, there were a few Army ladies raking in cash overseas as guys would pay almost anything for some pussy. One lady was caught with a duffel bag full of cash trying to get back to the States. Oops!

I feel so bad for these girls who passed, I also feel horrible for all the girls at other parlors that are now scared to work, one parlor which I am fond of was closed today, they are mourning the loss of their fellow countrymen, and massage workers and dealing with the sadness. Nobody will forget this, but it will take a long time before the sting starts to lighten.

She ain't stupid. Shut them all down and the girls will be back in the streets in droves. I know you don't compare massage workers with streetwalkers but guys are going to want relief and if one type of business gets out put out, you find another.
