One of Korea's big dailies, Chosun Ilbo, has a witness at the spa saying the killer shouted "I am going to kill all the Asians" but law enforcement says this isn't "racially motivated. ".

The police chose to omit this.

“ The Korea-Japan News Atlanta quoted A, an employee of the massage station "Gold Massage Spa" where the shooting occurred, saying that the suspect "would kill all Asians" at the time of the shooting. Mr. A was in the store at the time of the shooting, but reportedly avoided it and then told the nearby Office of Korea.

“ According to the media, police visited a nearby Office of Korea and advised business owners to close, saying it was likely a hate crime targeting Asians.”

I live Albany, Ga. Three hrs drive southwest of Atlanta. We have a couple of massage spots here in town, I noticed 12 parks right outside the parking lots. Crazy LOL.

These ladies come here trying to make a better life for them and their family. Often here for years before going back home and many not able to ever return here. They come here to avoid working all year in a factory to make $300 a month. This is terrible what happened. Please be kind to these ladies and give them a hug instead of being mean. It's better for everyone involved. What a bizarre tragedy this is.

Between the shooting and the stimulus, it seems like an excellent time to take an extended break from this hobby. Let providers calm down, let prices return to normal. And wait for LEO attention to cool down.

I hear you but I don't care, if your wife died, assuming you had one, and like many guys on this forum you loved her but sex was an issue and at the funeral I walked up to you and said "hey man, aren't you happy you got rid of that old fat tub of lard that wouldn't fuck you anymore?" (No disrespect intended to your wife if you have one just using a relationship to make an example).

I don't care what his intent was, calling them jizz dumpsters and that in one week they will be replaced the day after a lunatic kills them is a one way trip off this forum.

So Mayor bottoms says they are legit upstanding businesses, and the Sheriff of Cherokee is insinuating he was tempted by something (certainly not a legitimate massage) Someone is going to end up with their foot in their mouth on this one if they are going in different directions about what these spa's provide so far as services go.

Actually, the cops said he was driving to visit "porn industry" companies in Florida. If he had a sex addiction he probably didn't frequent Fla massage parlors. But he probably watched a lot of Bang Bus videos. There are several sex video producers in Miami.

So the Bottom said that these were upstanding legitimate businesses, so LE isn't going to be a problem, they aren't going to try and bust any parlor or person anytime in the near future as they have already established the "legitimacy" of all the parlors in the metro.

Not completely disagreeing with you but "hate" could due to race, color, orientation, religion, politics, language, anything.

Hate is hate.

I am half expecting there to be a bit more scrutiny on these businesses by LEO, at least for the rest of this week. So watch out for them.
