I sure hope not. Let this be an isolated incident regardless of the motive. We don't know at this point whether it was robbery, prejudice, a customer getting ripped off, or some other reason. And if it was a customer getting ripped off, that's one reason this forum exists: to let other mongers know what's going on. There's no need to shoot up a bunch of massage parlors, killing and wounding plenty of innocent folks in the process.

The narrative is already being spun toward the popular anti-Asian racism by whites motive even when we actually see who the perpetrators are in the shoving and sucker punch attacks on elderly Asians nationwide.

Very sad! I'm thinking they were probably robberies. A lot of us pay in cash at these AMP's. The girls are pretty vulnerable which is why they all have numerous cameras. Unfortunately the cameras won't deter a violent robbery. I'm glad they caught the piece of shit. Now he can spend the rest of his life in prison. He'll need a full supply of anal cream!

While time will tell the killer's motivations the rise in anti-Asian sentiment and corresponding attacks on Asian Americans is likely at least partially the cause. The women killed were just trying to make ends meet like the rest of us. It is unfortunate that some see political gain in pitting some groups against others. As always, stay safe all.
