I've had this happen on different platforms. But I've never driven (not by a scammer, escort yes LOL) to a place to get ghosted; yet LOL. To that end I have begun using a method during initial conversations. I try not to give out my location, FIRST (or ever). If they persist on knowing my location (a red flag by itself) I always use generics like 'airport' or 'westside' just to see what their response is. I try to get them to spit out a suburb name. If they can't, or if the suburb is in a different geographic location, that's a red flag to me that its a scam. Once they have your general geographic location, all they need to do is look it up on Gmaps to find suburb close by to make them FEEL genuine to you. If that makes sense.

Just one tool in the ole tool bag to weed out the scammers.

Unless one is doing an outcall, there is NEVER a reason to provide them with the location. Usually, most ask "how far are you" or "how long til you get here" and I simply provide the estimated time and often, I provide a later time than when I will actually arrive, since I like to arrive early and scope the area. Otherwise, there is no need for them to know where I am.

Once, I asked a provider her location and she responded with the same question. I said "I'm coming to you, therefore, my location is irrelevant". Her response was, "I wanted to make sure you're close in order to come see me". My response was, "Tell me your location, let me worry about if I'm close enough to want to see you". I agree with you, it's fishy if they ask and persistent as well.

Just dumped a date on What's your price pronto because she wanted to get her kids a steam card. Did a been verified check the number was to some guy in Florida knew it bullshit. Steam bullshit I have encountered before with random skanks on kik. Knew this were off when the profile had no content.

On meetme and Skout I'm getting too many messages wanting me to sign up to another BS dating site, some are bold enough to give me debit card numbers.

Had this exact same scenario but in Rochester Hills. Gave me an address in a very nice neighborhood. Told me she was in town visiting her aunt and just needed some sex. Drove to the house and texted her. She told me to give her a few minutes and then laid the whole steam card scam on me. Told her no and she spent the next hour texting me begging me to cashapp her 50. This is the same person using random addresses from Maps trying to get suckers looking for a hookup. If ot sounds too good to be true, it always is.
