So I got my Covid shot yesterday at Gillette. If you are going there this is what to expect. You must stay in your car until 10 minutes before your appointment. Then you get in a very long line going around the maze 4 times. It is outside and there is no cover. If it is raining or snowing you will get wet. When you get to the door you get in another line and show the guy at the desk your appointment on your phone and he asks some covid questions. Then you go upstairs and get in another line. When you get to the end of that one they assign you a table to sit at to get you shot. After that you get in another short line and they give you info about where to wait and how to schedule your 2nd shot. I was low risk so I had to sit for 15 minutes. If you are high risk you will have to wait longer. After that you are all set. From the time I left my car until the time I got back to it was 1 hour and 4 minutes. Also my arm is sore but besides that I feel fine. Hope this helps.

Lots of nice personal anecdotes here about not getting it. However, we should remember that this does not mean we are not spreading it.

Has anyone has any luck using an app called "Burner".
Supposedly sets up a dummy number that looks like a local number. You can text and call. I got it and it seems to work, but the escort I'm trying to meet only responded to one text and won't answer the call. Not sure if she's terrible on communication or she knows I'm using this app.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Similar experience except no headache. Felt very optimistic after getting the first shot. I don't believe that was a symptom from the shot, but rather elation from the thought of the possibility of every day life opening up.

Posts: 3017Same here(well I'm 53). I'll be making an appointment soon for my "Fauci Ouchie". I've been hog wild since last spring and, I haven't gotten any of the symptoms since. However, my younger brother came down with it Covid, all he mentioned was light dizziness and no taste nor smell at all. I did mine back in December and my test came back negative. Guess staying active in some sort and taking a daily multi-vitamin really helped a ton.

Posts: 3806The suffering seems temporary. I had COVID and was hospitalized for three days with pneumonia. I was lucky that it was just that and no other symptoms. Still, not able to breath is the worst experience and I don't want anyone to ever experience that. I'll take the sore arm and a few days of misery over that experience.

Posts: 1645I'm only 57, so god knows when I'll get it. But I've been pretty much living a normal life so far and have mongored right along like nothing happened. Haven't gotten it yet and I've been on airplanes, restaurants, AMPs, escorts, street hookers, subways, etc.
