After reading some of the reports here I decided I had to see what's happening at Pinups. I parked out front Friday and proceeded to see if reports here were accurate. As usual they had a couple big ass goons up front with just a tip to get in. Lighting was better than most places I frequent nowadays and the only place darker imo is follies. Strokers is pretty dim but this place has a much better layout. A few chicks giving dances in a main room right after walking through a subway type metal entry. I then proceed left to where the main stage is that's almost the same size of strikers or platinum. I was charged 20 for VIP which is really just an area on the parking lot side of the stage. The seats are high which is great for black clubs because the focus is usually on the grind. The high tops allow the dancer to work your package at better angles than normal height chairs. One bad thing about high tops is that they can sometimes be too high which is the case in pinups and strokers. If the chairs were 6-8 inches lower they would be perfect but you can't have everything, right?

The talent was definitely better than what I normally see at strokers and matched Wax good days and blew away the bad days. I sampled theee dancers when there. First one was a beautiful 10 that said she was from Texas. Perfect face and great body, This chick would stop traffic for sure. I can't remember her name but I. Would have danced her all day but wanted to sample some more to see how freaky the dances got. First dancer did a decent job once she noticed where the stick was and seemed to more into it the more songs I got. I'll definitely be returning to try and build a relationship to see how far she will go. The second dancer was named Zuri I think. 10/10 for the grind but could have been just a little bit more freaky. I'll be back to try her limits with a minimum of 4" songs. Zuri had long hair dark pretty skin and soft ass and titties. No outrageous size and an attractive body. Last dancer was decent but I was burned out and only got a couple of songs. Decent booty but face and body didn't do it for me, so I'll avoid her from here on.

I'll definitely be back. The only negative here is the prevalence of security. I've been here on night shift as well and it seems they take their jobs too seriously although day shift wasn't bad, there was still way too many dudes in bouncing. Why do you need 6 bouncers on day shift? It gives assholes time to interfere with other people's 'fun'.

I usually go to clubs just to hangout and look around until I see one to go to the VIP with. The issue I am having is that as soon as I enter the club and sit down, a girl would immediately try to hassle me for a private dance or VIP when I may not want to do that with her specifically and its hard for them to take no for an answer. I would telk them to let me hangout and let me vibe for a while and then Ill come and get them when I'm ready.

Again, I at least want to enjoy a drink or two before spending money in a private room. I would also enjoy to have enough time to make my selection before immediately being annoyed by a chick that may not be my type.

Yeah that happens to me all the time. What I normally tell them is I'm trying to get a few drinks to shake the edge off but to check back with me later.

Hey guys, I only make it to your city once a year, but I'll be driving thru twice in the next couple weeks starting this Saturday. Should be getting in town around NOON and will have about 2 hours to kill. In the past I would hit Follies, but since that's no more, I'm looking for advice on the good substitute. Although I do enjoy a good VIP experience, I loved the full access dances Follies provided on the floor. I've been following your thread here for a while, but looking for any more specific advice since my time will be limited. Platinum? Vivide? Wax? Prefer a mixed or black club. They updated their hours within last 2 weeks advising they open at 5 pm. But according to a chick who has a YouTube channel advises the dancers don't show up till 2300 or midnight. . The Google reviews seem like it is laid back and friendly. Maybe we need to show it a little more love. But midnight is way to late. I am a day shift only atl dude! https://youtu.be/HHNsNOiMHvo.

Happened to me quite a bit at Follies (when it was around). Just tell them you just sat down and want to look around a bit. I'll usually ask their name and say I'll find them if I want to see them. The Latinas were always pushy. They come back 20 min later asking if I'm ready LOL. Just be nice about it. Last thing you want is to be rude and word of mouth goes around and then no one approaches you.

I say, "no thank you," or "maybe later," or similar statement. I want to see what things look like. The worst thing you can do is to be wishywashy. Saying no frees her up to hassle someone else and allows you to check others out. Remember, it's your money, spend it however you want to.

Usually I just tell them I'm looking for a specific girl I saw last time whose name I didn't capture, maybe along with a vague description. Sometimes they'll even mention the name of a girl that fits your description, which you can use to your advantage. In my experience that is enough to get them to leave, but results may vary.
