The Venezuela profiles are mostly scammers trying to make a quick buck. You can hide or block those profiles if you don't want to see them. While some guys advocate hiding your profile to limit interacting with scam accounts, I keep mine searchable: I've made some great connections by being viewed and favorited by gorgeous girls.
