Like everything in life its a cycle. There are only so many sb's that are on the site which is why I do not think its worth it to pay for a membership each month. I do think that a membership every 3 or 4 months could be worth while depending on how you like the relationship you had established with your SB.

I tend to agree with you, after a month I think I have enough leads to work with for a while. I just found it odd that on my last premium day I got more messages than another other day. However, I would sign up again if the girls I am talking to don't work out or I get bored.

Also fellas, today is a good day to sign up if you're on the fence. They have a special, $75 instead of $90 for one month. Just make sure to take off auto renewal right away, I think they tried charging my card again after a few weeks (lucky for me it was maxed out- haha).

The last day I was getting several messages from many promising leads. It's like they decided to boost my profile in hopes of me staying. Did this happen to anyone else?

Yes, they boost your profile a couple of days before your membership is ending in order to get you to renew. My take is that membership will not pay off until this pandemic is over / under control. I will not be renewing until then anyway.

I tried to engage this one, mostly out of curiosity. I got a very nice / polite response that really was nothing other than an acknowledgement that I messaged her. So she's either getting more attention than she can handle or she's not interested due to my age. You'd think with a profile like hers that anyone who does message her is OK with her 'rules' and that the amount of messages she receives would be less than the average, but she certainly is not desperate.

Thought I would share what has worked and hasn't worked as far as the first message for me. I've been most successful getting a response when I send a first message stating what I'm looking for: discrete, mutually beneficial, let's chat if that is interesting etc. The next most successful has been f they have something in their profile I can tailor into a first message as either a shared interest or a follow up question but I find most don't put enough in their profile to come up with much.

I've abandoned these because of the low response rate: Giving a compliment. A generic hi, how was you week, or something similar. Asking for more details on what they are looking for or their interests.

Favoriting and sending a message seems to bring the best response rate.

Curious to hear approaches that work and don't work for others.

Yes something pretty specific without being blunt is good. Something showing you read the profile is good. I never "favorite" I just don't use that feature.

A polite follow up after a day or two works too. Some women don't respond because they are flooded with messages; others are just terrible at communication.

Do any of you use Secret Benefits? Signed up and bought 100 credits, but no luck so far. Was attracted to the one off pricing and there are some great profiles, but not sure this is legit and / or is super hard to get anything real going.

I have had success with all of the sites however SA is the leader just because of the selection. I think the overall consensus here has been the same, as it has been asked about a fair amount. Good to experiment and see how it goes but I feel there may be more bots on SB, if that is such a thing, because many seemed to never reply.
