I wondered why it never moved so went in through the side and drove up to it. No one was in it. I think it was a retired cruiser waiting to go to auction. It was gone yesterday when I went by.

This morning early I drove on Bird from 10th to Nebraska and stopped because a very warmly dressed short black woman approached my car.

She asked if she can help me. In her hand was a smart phone with the camera pointed not right at me, but close enough (at the door handle).

Was she undercover and recording the conversation? Do the neighborhoodies patrol that way looking for incriminating conversations from cars that loop the loop through the area?

Usually the ladies of the night cannot keep a phone, let alone have one in hand when they approach the window of a guy who was driving around the block a few times.

Unfortunately, I don't have any info but for those of you who don't know, the popo seems to sit in the old racetrack parking lot just to keep an eye on convenience store just south of Waters on Nebraska (different place but just an fyi).

At last I found her available after all these months of checking on her whereabouts.

It was very early morning hours before dawn.
She was on Bird Street a few blocks from Nebraska hiding in the shadows leaning against a fence.
I circled and approached from a better angle and pulled over to ask her into the car.
She popped out into the light and got in.

She is very personable and intelligent. I like her.
Her enthusiasm was unusually refreshing and I will certainly go back for more.

Also, that site that we use to track uncle visits. The dot org one. Has been fixed. It had been mixing the incorrect photo with reports. So if you checked it earlier and it looked weird, try it again, everything is back to normal now.

Before I dropped off Amanda, I asked her if she had any friends because she mentioned a friend named Shelly earlier in the night.

She said that Shelly has "strawberry blonde hair" and is about Amanda's size (a little smaller than average) and works morning rush hour from one particular spot: about 25 yards east of Nebraska and Seneca.

I recall no mention of Shelly on this thread, possibly another Amanda. Anyone know?

Funny you should mention that.

I overheard talk at the chicken laundromat on Lois about a gang in Drew Park.

The entire lot has a laundromat and a convenience store that used to sell gas.

Instead of gas, there is a car detailing "fly-by-night" arrangement where the pumps used to be and car parked all over the lot. The far northeast corner seems to be the same group of homeless? people gathered, more like hunkered in, looking very tight knit, as is the norm for Drew Park residents anyway.
That's a necessity with shady businesses and a black market auto part conglomerate deeply entrenched in the neighborhood.

It does not feel safe hunting for streetwalkers there for the time being.

They are harassing the management of the known prostitution motels, hotels to pressure them to get rid of working girls and dope dealers.
