One other poster talked about it being a bureaucratic move, a licensing issue a technicality. Like an irritating gnat buzzing around your ear. But it's enough to take down the vulnerable because it's objective and dichotomous—- they either do or do not meet the licensing criteria. No hidden cameras or sting or raid or undercover mission required. Like taking down Capone for tax evasion when they couldn't get him on other charges. If the impact goes beyond individual municipalities and has statewide effects, then they can't just close shop and move to a new nearby location. This bureaucratic initiative mostly affects the supply side of the equation; and maybe has only a minor effects on demand. Maybe that's enough to show the public that action is being taken, but with supply reduced, it will just make the AMPs that are busy now and in surrounding states even more in demand. We also know that the girls who want to resume will land on their feet somewhere sometime.

Agree. One place I know is sort of legit. They actually get women and guys who just go there for an actual massage. Girl I see says business has been horribly slow.

Posts: 1645Some of these places just aren't getting any business. I saw Apple last week and she said I was only the second person that came in that day and I came in at 4 pm. So she only saw one other mongor all day. One of my Worcester places said she was really slow.
Covid has everything fucked up.

Posts: 229Waltham is not why Cherry Blossoms closed. It's a state licensing issue.

Posts: 207139 re-opened today. 1060 remains closed. Besides Cherry B and 1060, nothing else seems to be affected at this point.

But some places will be able to meet the requirements to be licensed. So not all will disappear.

Posts: 2120Every so often is always a shakeup, yet some how the oldest profession survives. Some may be just to stop the spread. You have a single girl in very close contact to 8 or more different guy's in a single day times say 25 days can be a lot of exposure. What gets me, I drive constantly for work and in both upper blue collar and white collar towns. I have never seen so many vacant store fronts. Why would towns throw so much revenue for hurting landlords away. One thing you cannot get from Amazon is an Asian spinner to jack you off. These towns are going to need cash big time to recover from over a year of loss. Seems towns like Waltham, Watertown, Newton, Quincy and similar places have spas all over the place. How much of them would survive if restricted to non erotic massage and grooming services.

I went to this place for the first time prior to Christmas as a treat for myself. I think I was sold on the idea that is was 60 for the hr as opposed to 70 or 80. Parked in back where I felt it was a bit more private and walked down some stairs which housed a travel agency as well. I was greeted by an older woman. Very dark inside. The first thing I noticed was that is was not warm inside the shop and even colder in the massage room. Then I thought to myself "What is missing here" ? There were no massage tables. I had to lie down on a series of blankets. The woman was older than anyone I had ever met at an AMP. Mid to late 50's. Good massage but no teasing. Pulled down my drawers near the end and we negotiated extra for 60 more. She would have liked 80 but I kept firm considering there was no heat because they behind on rent. On my way out I saw a younger thin girl waiting in her room. I am wondering if anyone can tell me if the younger girl is worth seeing? Thanks.
