Nah, he writes like an older dude. He has that 1970's writing style. It's hard to explain unless you've studied film or lit (or I guess if you lived in the 1970's), but the best comparison is Woody Allen. Everybody he writes is sassy and clever, with lots of one liners. HangingBalls has that kind of narrative style.
