I like Vicki's answer to the question! Indeed, what's the difference, there is none. A lot of the gals would like to say they aren't prostitutes because they only do run and tugs. And a lot of the guys who go to parlors like to say they don't see prostitutes. That's probably the biggest difference is the workers and patrons don't want to say what it is because it makes them feel better to whitewash it. I like Vicki's blunt honesty.
