While laboratories are required to report positive tests and individual identifiers to local / state public health depts, it is strictly confidential and allows contact tracing.

If positive or negative results were publicly available no one would get tested allowing unchecked spread.

Yes, but if they are arrested for Felony Transmission of HIV, that's public record. So, apparently HIPPA doesn't have any say over arrest reports. At that point, the fact that they have HIV is public knowledge. Other STDs can pretty much never be proven one way or the other.

About this girl for many, many moons. Luckily I found this out about this girl way before I decided to take the plunge! She applied for a room for rent that I had then ran a background check on her. Blocked her once I found out. There should be some sort of allowance for us to post about situations like this, for our safety and the safety of others!
