So I haven't ben out & about too much lately. After reading some recent posts here, I decided to check with a few contacts I've made over the past several years. So here is the whole story as things stand.

Firstly J's is still shut down but notdue to Covid. They were up & running with the typical J's dances during the first shutdown. The shooting that happened in Oct is also not the reason (directly). The local authorities ordered J's to hand over all security videos in their possession as part of the investigation for the shooting. Apparently the owner had years of surveillance vids backed up & that's all in the hands of the locals & yes, that does include from the cameras in the dance area. It's what they saw going on in those vids that lead to the village board to vote for the lingerie / bikini dancer ban at the bars in question. These were also shared with surrounding municipalities in the area who'd boards also voted to ban in fear that these activities would move in to their town. It is uncertain if J's will ever open again but if they do, there will be NO dancers as things stand.

Then there's Bobby's. While they are open, they're on restricted hours (I believe only til 11). There are a few girls that hang out there but in everyday clothing, no Lingerie anymore. There are no dances at all. The few girls are trying to get tips for sitting getting cozy or giving a massage, but don't expect much. They getting a small crowd, they hired that smokin hottie bartender from J's (I believe Annie / Anna?) & she has quite a following to my understanding.

Carls, has not opened since the initial shutdown. Rumor is he may not reopen at all unless the ban is lifted but that is absolutely a rumor.

Louie's is open but only on the weekends, Thur or Fri through Sunday. They have most of their girls back but fully dressed in daily clothes, not lingerie etc. They are trying to get creative by doing dances but not really dances so to speak. Again, don't get your hopes up, they are limited. There may be some girls attempting to work around the new rules but that's speculation. The back room is not open at this point.

It is yet to be seen if any of the bars are willing to push the issue & try having the traditional dancers. At this point, it seems they are afraid of being shut down permanently like J's keeping in mind it was their dancer activities as well as "business deals" going on that lead to their actual closure.

Many of the girls have moved on to whatever jobs they could find, laborer / fast food etc. Some are trying OnlyFans & other sites like that & some are doing private parties / one on ones etc but I have no specifics. As for the "older Polish" dancer, I believe the name you are looking for is Monica, sweet but a very sloppy drunk.

For those inquiring about All Stars, I recently checked them out. Door fee $10, frisk & temp scan. You must be wearing a mask but can remove for drinking. The thing I don't like, is they ask to see your license & they scan / store it in their system. On the upside the girls there are pretty hot, way above average. Dances are 10 or 20 for topless. You & the dancer must have masks on & the bartender / security (& anyone else sitting at the end of the bar) have a very clear view of the dance area on the video monitors at the end of the bar near the enterance.

As far as the traditional strip / gentlemen's clubs in the area, they don't seem to be effected by these bans. I think it has something to do with the type liquor / entertainment license. The lingerie bars always sort of walked a fine line on the licensing issue as I'm lead to understand.

Bobby's is back open with girls. Normal hours to my knowledge. Louies is open but as stated, the girls are in regular street clothes. Will still do dances and massages. Allstars in McCook is also open with girls, normal hours.

I agree with Jc2490: you're probably thinking of All Star Bar and Grill, located at 7949 47th Street in McCook (a little west of Harlem).

Actually this came up last month in the Chicago Strip Clubs forum. I pointed out that from 1995-2010 there was another, similarly named club closer to Melrose Park: All-Stars Gentlemen's Club located at 11645 West Grand Avenue in Northlake. After suffering a structure fire the club was never rebuilt and the property was turned into a truck parking lot. All that remains is a tiny portion of the original building, now used for storage, that bears the old club's name.

A real sweetheart with a great style.
