I was changing shirts behind the Citgo at the intersection of 285 and Moreland when a man in full camo with a a bow and arrow suddenly appeared and headed straight toward me. He told me to be careful in that area. He was deer hunting in about 1. 5 acres of kudzu covered trees and brush that bordered this busy industrial area. Had already killed a 12 pointer in that spot and said there was a bigger one he was targeting. He disappeared into the woods and I headed up the street to Blaze. So you can add that to the list of attractions assuming you can get permission to hunt these spots in the Metro area. Not what I was expecting to see on Moreland Ave at 5:30 PM.

Hard to see why you think that CAMP workers have so little value that. They are able to make more than most mongers? Seems like they have figured out supply and demand pretty well, and are able to create a life around that value equation. And most of them, I suspect, left China to get a better life. I know a fair amount about China (have spent weeks there, have employed people there, have many Chinese immigrant friends, etc.) and it's very obvious to me why their citizens might seek a life in a different country.

We should all have great empathy for those who fall under prosecutorial abuse. We should all expect and seek equal protection under the law, even for groups that you do not feel sorry for on a personal level. We do not assign legal value on immigrants in this country based on how they might be treated in a different country. If you have such little respect for AMP workers based on your experience, and you think they are overpaid for delivering less-than-expected services, then please do not patronize them.

I agree that the law is a disgrace, but I will never feel sorry for a CAMP girl. They make more money per month than most mongers do. If they don't like it, they can take a leaky, slow boat back to China where they can realise their true worth: little to nothing. I prefer balance, which shows both sides of the coin. We know they'll shell out the extra $1 k for that (pocket change). So, those women perform 60 or so hand jobs at their new CAMP, their debt is gone and they're fully back in the game. The amount of money a parlor makes varies widely on the amount of traffic, and I will leave it at that.

The point is that the johns in Jupiter didn't even get a fine. The owners, who could hopefully (easily) afford the fine, had their passports and bank accounts frozen. If you think getting your bank account frozen is just punishment when you haven't even been convicted of a crime, then I don't know what to say. If you think having your bank account frozen for months before prosecutors can secure a watered down conviction, I don't know what to say about that either. 100 hours of community service is not a walk in the park for anyone who has to work.

These AMPs are generally not pushing their services on anyone, nor are they taking advantage of their customers. They are privately negotiating and contracting in consensual services among adults and the complaints being filed and prosecuted are by people who do not apply the law equally. It's a disgrace.

Do you realise how much money these places rake in? A paltry $31 k fine is pocket change. Also, this was Jupiter, Florida, home to a lot of rich guys who probably tip very well. That parlor likely made millions before it was shut down

Did you bother to read the article? The woman stated that the guy she shot was a "friend" from Chicago whom she had known a long time. If she was renting her pussy, he was likely her handler or a facilitator and I assume there was a dispute over money (often is in these cases) so she shot him.

The outcome of this case is really sickening, a sad commentary on how the major media outlets get the crux of the story wrong ("trafficking! And focus on prurient content.

A raid on your favorite parlor can be very devastating to the owners and providers. FS shops in particular seem at greatest risks, but there are activist prosecutors (the Department of Homeland Security, locals) who apparently will spend a lot of time and money on this kind of thing. Prosecutors took passports and froze bank accounts while they made noise in the news.
