It's not that they all used the same site builder.

It's that they all have shitty reviews, list each other on all their own websites, and seem to be a network of the same shitty providers that have artificially inflated prices. That scam is a text to your phone saying something along the lines of "Yes, please send help right away, he tried raping me", hoping you'll flee the room after she received her money, which I assume you did.

The same happened to me with another gal when I first entered this hobby. I saw it and have to admit I had a slight panic at first. Then I said Eff it. I opened the entrance door and closed it, then hid behind the wall next to the bathroom. She instantly exited the bathroom and freaked when I came from behind her and grabbed my money from her hand.
