Currently 39% of Mich icu beds are covid patients. 855 of the 2207 adult icu beds filled are covid as provided by state data. Not saying we should shut down anything, but you could at least admit you were wrong about your post Nov. 4th comment.

Yes, hospitals are busy now, they are busy every winter, that's why they are there.

That doesn't change the fact that covid hospitalizations represent less than 10% of the patients. It also doesn't change the fact, and these are facts, that while there have been 260 odd thousand "covid deaths" the number of people who are dying in the US of all causes is exactly the same this year as the last three years, there are just less cancer, and heart disease deaths and nearly no influenza deaths.

91% of the covid "deaths" were over the age of 55 and of them 94% had an average of 2.6 comorbidities that covid feeds on. So yeah, most of them were going to die this year which is why the number of deaths from all causes is unchanged.

You're still wrong, you're always going to be wrong about this and 400,000,000 people world wide are paying the price for you to fingerwag.

I always wondered if this was a faux staging just to qualify for FEMA or some other disaster fund. Like, you can't have the whole amount unless you demonstrate need by spending "x" otherwise on the event. And it was still handles by the NG anyways.

That could very well be too. I worked in healthcare for a decade and our system is really fucked up.

They took over only a small part of the old Cobo center and another small part of that convention center in Novi, and the only patients that got housed in Cobo were non-covid and non-critical (overflow from hospitals so they could keep within that 10% margin).

Admittedly I only spent 5 minutes on this, but as near as I can tell the data indicate there has been a significant uptick in deaths from all causes in 2020.

Perhaps you will recall that on November 5th Fauchi FOR THE FIRST TIME talked about the "light at the end of the tunnel" and the suddenly almost ready to deliver vaccine. So it was off to the races again but look at the covid news stories between Nov 4th-6th, you'll see it.

They are still manufacturing panic, California with the "overwhelmed hospital system?" 75,000 staffed hospital beds in the State and 7200 hospital cases of corona but it's corona not heart disease that is overwhelming the system.

If you check the CDC provisional death counts the US is on track to have exactly the same number of deaths from all causes in 2020 as it had in 2017,2018, 2019. Check it on Jan 1 It's going to be 2.8 million or less. So much for extra deaths.
