I have family in both Stone Pk and Melrose Pk PD and both have said that numerous times that it's for what they have seen in videos at Js. Which caused a domino affect. I also talk to many of these girls and they're not missing much cause they do parties and other events. I just saw Jojo at a event hosted this week on Wednesday. I talk to other dancers and they're either staying home cause they're husbands make enough money or they have sugar daddies. Plus Louies is still open just not doing lingerie on the main floor.

Once the shooting went public it would be a matter of time until they shut the place down imo. I mean the happy ending rooms at all of these places has to be common knowledge to all of the fuzz around (and we have our share of it up and down that strip). It's just the blow back that might happen if they didn't act immediately to close down the place no matter what the outcome of the shooting turns out to be. Just too much focus on the place and the closing had to take place just to show that "hey see we're doing something here. Killing two birds with one stone". Which we all know is just bs and that they are all just trying to protect their paychecks and last until retirement age and then they are gone. They don't care either way about any sort of activities in those places legal or illegal imo. Also I do know that over here in my village one of the dancers in one of the heim clubs did try working a straight job at this guy I know over here that has a laundromat that I use in this village. One of the other girls working there told me that her employment lasted all of less than a day in that she said the pace was "way too slow" of a money making endeavor for this woman that was used to having cash thrown at her quickly. Also as mentioned these girls have either support from sugar daddies, husbands, a combination of both or are doing private parties. That I know first hand there is good money in for the girls. In the mid to late 90's I booked topless waitresses and dancers for those kinds of functions. A pretty girl with good people skills can make some huge money at these golf outings, divorce and bachelor parties. Problem with that industry for me was that it was 10 % of my business and 90 % of my bs! Stosh out. Stay safe all. See you all sometime on heim.

Heck, Chuckie Cheese has had multiple shootings. It is the old squeaky wheel saying. Most people do not care what goes on, a few pissed off wives / GFs are angry that not all money / attention is given to them. Also have a few loser guys pissed that dancers will not date / marry / fuck them. Had a lot of fun times in the old days. Not been for a while.

It is with sadness I read these reports. I cannot claim to have been very active in the clubs, though I have been to most a number of times. I find several things sad. The first is the hypocrisy. The escort sites are full of business for LEO. I am not advocating this of course. I merely point out that LEO sure likes the low hanging fruit provided for us that can't afford hundreds of dollars a night for sex. Another thing is what do they expect these girls to do during the shutdown since most are not qualified for the high tone professional jobs available. Or maybe they should all apply for the Amazon warehouse jobs popping up. Political hypocrisy is evident. The suburbs are supposed to be about conservatives wanting less government control over our lives. I guess that doesn't count when it comes to sex. I have seen comments about Stone Park and Melrose wanting things shut down. I wonder how much UTR revenue Stone Park and Melrose were making off these places. The shooting being the cause? I hope that's total bullshit. With all the Walmart shootings, is anyone pushing for the closing of all Walmarts?

FWIW, I just got a text from one of the dancers. They are going to open at noon tomorrow. There will be dancing, but the girls have to be clothed. The back room will be open for business as usual.

The question I would have, is how these bars are going to make a living without dancers. I have seen a lot of guys walk into Bobby's, look around, see no girls and walk right out. There would be no reason for me to travel down to Melrose for a drink when there several bars within walking distance from home. I enjoy a dance every now and then, so I hope this does not take place.

It didn't have to take a tragedy to get the melrose thread moving again, however it is what it is. Imo the answer to the how they can survive is simple. They can't! Like mentioned here shot and a beer joints are everywhere so why come over here to the strip just for that and put extra miles on the ride as well as time spent. Plus driving home through several villages just to have a few? Not going to happen. I can tell all first hand that j's is completely silent as most here already know. Just in case we have some newbies traveling through here. It's my opinion that the fuzz have known all along what has been happening in these happy ending rooms of these places. It's just that with the shooting they have to get serious for the good of their own paychecks and shut them down or face blow back from the public. Again it has to be a county thing regarding the ban if it happens to all the places as I know louie's is in melrose, carl's may be stone (don't know that for sure), bobby's (franklin?) and of course j's which is leyden township and that is unincorporated cook. Well we saw what happened to the pen when their dancers went. The place is still for rent. I am up and down that area most days and it's mostly taco joints, slot places, pawn shops, pay day loan places, franchise fast food and strip centers with grocery stores. Without the dancers all of the aforementioned places will be empty and for rent for a long time imo. Also what about scores? I mean it's a different animal, however that is melrose and the place next to it. I mean it would be considered discriminatory in nature to close down what I being old refer to the bikini bars and not scores. Thanks to all for the rant and I agree. Sad day. It will be bad for their businesses. I have no reason to head to any of those places without the girls. Or stop to fill up my gas tank, or grab lunch, or go pick up food / cigerettes etc for any of the dancers.

I don't know if any of the bars are open right now but I do not believe so. The state closure is still in effect in all of the counties to the best of my knowledge. The "Dancer Ban" will take place once they open up according to the people I heard from. I'm not claiming to know for certain but heard the same story from 2 people that work at 2 different locations. To those of you who are in contact with any dancers/bartenders etc, any word on this?

So this morning I got a text from a dancer I recently started keeping in touch with. She informed me that there's some major changes being implemented. It seems the shooting at J's last month started the dominos falling. It sounds like the investigation ended up revealing everything that was happening at J's in the dance area as well as deals that were going on etc. The local powers that be, have ruled that the mannheim bars will NO LONGER HAVE DANCERS! Uggghhh! I contacted a bartender I know & asked if this was true & received confirmation. This somehow will effect both Melrose & Stone park, so maybe it's a joint effort? Or maybe a county thing? I'm told it will apply to pretty much every bar we discuss on this thread. I sure hope it's not true but the couple people I talked to are reliable. Anyone else hear anything on this?

And before I start getting any requests for her info, the dancer I heard from is not doing anything independently, I think she has a sugar daddy.

I just got the word from one of the dancers. They will be open Thursday through Sunday, noon to midnight. Still no dancing.
