Independent references may actually be better for you if they're more likely to respond to the agency doing the screening. Respectfully, I feel like you were too paranoid. You could've just told the agency that you had parked in the correct spot and proceeded from there. I've parked in unmarked / non-visitor spots countless times without incident. I think doing so for an hour or so presents little risk of towing or fines, especially if the community is gated.

I hope providers are getting tested regularly, but from what I've read on forums, it seems like most mongers aren't getting tested if they don't present symptoms. I can't speak to overall infection rates, but it appears as though asymptomatic cases are more common than symptomatic ones.

Spoiler alert, there is no visitor parking at this community. So I send my second (albeit professional) "WTF" and the response I get next is that I must leave the community and park across the street. Ummm. No. At this point I abandoned hope and aborted the mission.

My experience is the opposite of yours in that most of my experience is with agencies and I'm a novice when it comes to crapshoots. What happened to you happens to me all the time when it comes to parking. Half the time the code the agencies gives doesn't work and / or visitor parking is hard to come by. I don't know how the set up is at BAL, but at other agencies, when I see another car behind me, I just move and circle behind them and follow them right in. Though a lot of times, I am very lucky and I literally get there as the gate is either still open or as a car is just entering, so I just drive in. After entering, I'll drive in a roundabout way to another location and after a little while proceed to the actual location. As for visitor parking, if I can't find any, I'll try and park in an area that isn't too full, even if I have to walk for a bit. At one location, I was parking in non visitor areas for about 2 years and never had any trouble. Of course, now I'm a little more paranoid so I try and park in visitor areas if I can.
