Your explanation of how HIV is transmitted SEEMS to suggest you've never heard of a virus. Semen doesn't enter blood. Further, the prevalence of AIDS in Africa has to do with the rare use of condoms, the lack of education, and the progression of HIV into AIDS for lack of access to anti viral cocktails.
The early information on Aids you recall from the 70's, probably came from religious organizations, not CDC.

I agree with TheBro, higher probability with Anal sex to have transmission thru blood, than vaginal and oral sex. Just like the probability is higher in catching an STD with this hobby than meeting someone in the bar or even tinder, bumble etc. More traffic, more potential to harm yourself. Anal sex is the most dangerous sex due to the higher chance of exposure to blood and membrane, which can give you HIV and other things. Want info on incubation periods, surf the stdcheck.com website. Get the ten panel test periodically there too. Note your doctor probably only runs tests for the bacterial STDs. Same with Health Department. Don't skip the viral stuff.
