I had seen other providers using other websites before joining the forum. However, as a fellow newbie, I'd say the best approach is to read the posts from other senior members on their recent visits of providers with Ads. Once you see a good review for a provider that is your type the. Reach out using the info on the ad. That is what I did with Caribbean Scar. It worked out well and I provided some feedback to the forum. I guess it's to be expected that you have to contribute in order to "ask".

No way to get around it if the provider insists. I would just let them know its not something I'm comfortable with and if she won't budge than its best to find another provider.

I don't know I've had similar experiences where radar went off but the walker may have just been civilian, Rio Grande Park area especially. My thinking is it's covid now, time's are tough.
