Well, I knew this day was coming. Gina Rollins has officially raised her rates. If you check her website she's now 600/ hr and 1000/2 hrs.

I have not contacted her yet to determine if previous clients are grandfathered in at her old rates. What's ironic is now that she's starting to get older, at her new rates she isn't a bargain anymore. I mean, her menu is obviously superb, she'll do whatever you want. But she was starting to show her age a bit the last time I saw her, which was before COVID. Now she's significantly more expensive.

It's also not a bad practice to have "burner" email addresses, just like having burner phones, for when you contact someone for the first time. I have several. This way, if someone posts your messages or your email address, or blacklists you, you can just dump that email address and use another. Considering that they are free to create on sites like yahoo and gmail, it's easy to do.

Once in a while it's good practice to google search your own USASG username as well as any email addresses or phone numbers you use. A lot of sites just sort of copy anything that's open to access online. Usually it's harmless.

But SWers also have their own semi-underground communication, and they'll often post screenshots of forum posts or direct communication on their twitter or other social media pages. But that's usually only if you've done something that merits warning (e. G, trying to short / rob one, harassment, etc.) to other SWers.

I'd imagine if there was a PM leak (which is less likely), that would come up just as easily with a quick search

Yeah, I tried contacting her in 2018 during Labor Day and she was busy, expectedly so. Then during 'rona and after when she was supposed to be back a few times, but between being worried about 'rona, fam moving, etc. , we never connected on her end.

I saw $600 showing a few weeks to months back before her expected return. I guess more money, less exposure to 'rona.

I remember many years back, prior to the recession, she had raised her rates to $600. Then the financial crisis hit and she promptly lowered the hourly back to $400.

Let's see how thirsty her client base is. I wouldn't pay $600 for a 50 year old.
