It may sound a bit silly, or like one of those conspiracy nuts, but if you wrap your phone in aluminum foil it will create a Faraday cage and block the GPS signal. As others have said, simply turning your phone off isn't enough. You could also take the Sim card out but that's kind of a pain.

Ok, so I have a new situation that I need some insight with. My SO just informed me that we have added to our phone plan that through our network we can track our kids usage and location, but this also means that we (her) can track all the phones accordingly. I know I can use wifi to avoid what website tracking, but any insight for location tracking? All I can think is shut my phone off and continue to use my burner.

Hey there. MN monger here but will be down there next week. A few things to consider:

Test that tracking with usual usage, mobile / GPS off+wifi on, and even with phone off. Phones generally ping towers, satellites, whatever even when you think they aren't (airplane mode, etc.). That's why you can often use maps with what appears to be no coverage.

It's really best if you can take over the phone account management and be the primary account holder and then disable tracking for you / SO. Explain it's great for kids but creepy for adults. "What if we have a fight and one of us just wants to cool off? I'd consider you tracking me not just an invasion of privacy but a lack of trust. If you want to know where I am, just ask. ".

If she manages the accounts, even disabling tracking by using Wifi will raise questions. "Why couldn't I see where you were? "You said you were going to work but it showed you heading East and then the signal stopped. ".

If you have to leave things as is with her controlling the tracking, you have to set up a GPS alibi to literally leave your phone somewhere non-suspicious (near a buddy's, at work, gym, etc.) and then enable text / call forwarding to your burner and test it. Sometimes it does a weird double / muffled ring sound. Make sure your main phone is secure, charged up, and silent and when you answer on your burner that there's no odd background noise. Just hope she doesn't say, "Glad I caught you honey! I'm right outside and have something for you!" Even writing this was exhausting so I hope you can avoid it. Good luck.

Edit: Most anything with a GPS defaults to tracking and sharing your location history. Your phone (in multiple ways), car navigation (never use if want privacy), even Fitbit all track and monetize your location. Take the time to learn to disable or at least mitigate your risks from casual snooping and discovery.

I only carry the donation, my phone and car keys when I go on a date. I leave my wallet under my car seat or in the glove box and lock the doors to my car. If I get robbed, it will only be for the amount of the donation. Personally I'd rather just get robbed for the donation amount than justifiably shoot someone in self defense and have to hire a $500 per hour fancy pants lawyer. And yes, it's your word vs there's and you're the one with blood on your hands, the judge and jury could very well hit you for manslaughter or murder charges. It would not look good to the jury if you are going to see a prostitute with a gun on you. At the risk of sounding like a clown, I think carrying a small can of pepper spray would be a good idea for all of us.

You have all the right ideas my friend. Those three items are the holy trinity when seeing any of these girls. I may bring a few more bills incase I want to explore other things on the menu but I hide that in my clothes where its not easy to find. I never meet any of these girls with any of my I'd or personal valuables that I could potentially leave in their room like my wallet, a watch, a ring, a necklace or whatever by accident. Especially when you think about the many situations that could get you in trouble like a pimp pulling up and threatening you to leave or a girl telling you some bs for why she's rushing you out the room and now your flustered and you forget something in a room you had no business being in and can't get law to help you retrieve your stuff back. I agree with the pepper spray as I have some myself but since I try to be very thorough with gaining info on the girls I'll potentially see I've only felt the need to bring it maybe two times max. From my viewpoint we as men are always in the dominant position and only the threat of some unknown third party like a pimp can ever tip the scale out of our favor to a point that we might need to get physical but this board allows us to watch each others back so we don't end up in positions where we need to fight. Our hobby is all about relaxation so we need to avoid girls who are in situations that keep us on our toes even when our pants are down. If you kill a pimp you're already deep in the shit and after that you might as well admit you were their soliciting sex from a prostitute with pics of her ad and text messages to boot to bring her down with you in this nuclear option you've chosen LOL.

1 The fake picture scam, I cannot take a pictures my phone is broken, it's not our policy to send out pictures. My favorite I don't do verify photos.

2 The website advertisement scam. You have to be me on Web Cam to prove you are not a police officer.

3 Take extortion scam. Where their cartel were going to kill your family. We work for adult Lister and we're going to kill your family unless you pay. Hi you just verified with me i will contact your family; you need to pay me some money now. This is why you never give somebody your real information.

4 Don't tell anybody your prepay until you get the location. You drive to the location all some something happened and they require some money to get a babysitter or whatever before you can see them.

5 Bait and switch. That girl you were talking to, that sent the verify photos. She's not here on the only one available right now.

6 Time crunch scam. You paid for an hour but I really only have 15 minutes. Oh you're not done right now my watch says he been here longer than we agreed on.

7 The most dangerous pimp robbing you. You get there and the girl as you don't dress you do and the next thing you know there is a banging on the door somebody's flying out of the bathroom trying to take your wallet and your money and your car keys.

This is why I carry a gun and this is why I always always check the bathrooms and any adjacent doors. I always keep my pants on the dresser next to the bed. Unless I get a verified photo I always tell them how will meet you in the pool or lobby.

I have never fall victim to the prepay scams, Or the extortion scams. I have experienced all of these things listed.

With the economy getting worse the quality is going to get better. The caviot is the scams are going to get worse.
