Had not been in a few weeks so wanted to see what was up, particularly with reports of girls with an attitude and potential poor service. Well, there have been some changes. They recently installed some new VIP couches in the back left area of the bar. There's no privacy and the worst part is that they removed almost all of the low top tables in that area which was my favorite spot. Thank you for the great report. You must really be attracted to black girls, because personally I come to the strip club to unwind, I can't deal with places where I get any attitude at all. Late, but here's the explanation:

The former main dayshift manager at Follies is now the dayshift manager at Diamond Cub on Northside.

He organized a farewell party primarily for former Follies staff and dancers (but also customers) to be held at Diamond Club. That party took place Saturday, September 26.

He began announcing it a couple weeks prior on his Facebook page. There was also an "after party" strictly for staff and dancers at Club Zoo.

He later posted casual photos from the event.

That is what I heard from a former dancer now at another club. She said it would be open for one day only and then would be closed for good. She said I could verify it on fakebook and instagram. The problem happens when you go too far over the line. For the last several years, from reading this forum, it was clear that follies was way way way over the line. The most over the line club I've ever been to was the Platinum Plus in Memphis. I saw live sex on stage. There was lots of sex happening in the VIP room, lots and lots right out in the open VIP. In reading, that was just a normal night at the purple church. I've had a bunch of dancers, but I've never seen that much itc action just out in the open. Memphis closed them down eventually. Follies eventually got closed down, it just was too far over the line. This happens all the time. Guys want more, so they pay up. Girls get more. Bouncers, waitresses, and managers get more tips. This isn't an original story. When it's too far out in the open and talked about too much, you get trouble. A full club at 2:30 pm on a Monday, and people talking about it in internet chat rooms like this, and people raise their eyebrows. I've had sex and offers of sex from a bunch of different dancers, bartender chicks, waitresses, shooter girls, and just about every chick in a strip club possible short of the house mom in various cities. Keep it on the downlow, and it can go on forever. It gets talked about too much and the government comes a knocking. While I have zero information other then what is provided on this forum why would they open for 1 day? Do they still have a vaild liquor license? I think it would attract the attention of the local police plus liquor enforcement. Who would want to work 1 day. ? Could they get support staff and entertainment into place for one last party?
