It's been 19 years almost to the day since I last stayed at a motel and paid for one myself. (Stayed at a Motel 6 during a solo cross country drive from Seattle, after I rented a car because my flight was grounded on 9/11.) But are they still renting out rooms without a form of I'd and a credit card?

When I was in Florida last winter I lost my billfold. Had cash but no CC or I'd. Tried from north of Atlanta to Knoxville to get a room. None of the chain or smaller Motels would rent a room with CC an I'd. I even offered extra $200 deposit. No motel would rent a room.

I've talked to her several times and she sounds sweet as can be. However, she always tells me that she doesn't have a room but that we could do an incall if I gave her the money which concerns me about a possible scam. She's also never given me a straight answer when I ask where she's staying--I. E. , is she homeless? Living in a car? She's cute as hell but, just FYI, there are some unanswered questions that she doesn't seem to be upfront about.
