I agree that LE doesn't really care about the conviction, they only care about the arrest. They only arrest to embarrass people to scare others away. But even if you are single, or need a security clearance, you are screwed because the arrest is a simple google search away that stays there forever, independent of whether you are convicted. I would imagine with all the mongers going in and out of those same apts (we know where they are) at all hours of the day, the neighbours radars are going up. Not to mention that since we are in the middle of a pandemic more than a few of them are probably working from home or not working at all and are there all the time when in the past they wouldn't be.
