The big hotel is closed. There was an armed robbery and a shooting a few days apart around New Year's in the general vicinity of a nearby suites hotel. I see your point. However, there are some hotel and motel operators who don't want providers working there and actually work with Uncle LEO to keep them out. That leaves providers with fewer options to do business.

I know what you mean about Springfield. The Asian and Latina crapshoots have long had a strong presence at those two motels near the mall. I've seen a few independents there as well. But both of those places are much nicer than the dumpy low-end motel on the other side of I-95 from the mall or the even dumpier place off Route 1 in Woodbridge where I've also visited a couple of providers. They're also better than an extended stay place a few blocks south of the mall where I've also seen a few providers in the past.
