Military people strongly believe in the Constitution and defend it with their lives. So when a fascist piece of shit like Trump attacks it by insulting the free press and free speech and courts foreign meddling in our elections, the folks in uniform see it as attack on the Constitution itself. That pisses them off to the very core of what they are fighting for.

People in the armed forces highly respect generals who earned their stripes and that's why they pay attention when leaders like General Mad Dog Mattis calls Trump a "divider" and "a threat to the Constitution".

People in uniform don't fight for whoever is in the White House. They fight for America and what it stands for. Mighty Joe Biden and Killer Kamala represent everything that is good and principled about America. They will be proud as hell to serve leaders like that.

I have dozens of people in my family who are both active and retired military. They are ALL voting for Mighty Joe Biden.

Not sure how the military voting posture is now, but from 1980-2010 when I was in the military and worked for DoD, it was overwhelmingly Republican, anywhere from 65%-78%. I assume 87% would be a stretch, given current military demographics. One important thing to understand is that Blacks and Hispanics in the military don't vote Democrat in as great a number as they do in the civilian world, mainly due to the conservative culture of the military. Most folks who've never served have a hard time grasping that. Not saying you do or don't, but that's been my experience.
