Agree, might simply take the stress out for the gal, if not in the company of a loitering manager, her customer, and the night manager at the RR Inn.

Actually it would help them deal with worse offenses. If girls and johns could report crimes of violence, robbery, underage girls or human trafficking without reprisal the police would have a valuable source of information to solve crimes. Alas all the years of stings and the posting of pics in the news have created a serious distrust of law enforcement.

Posts: 694I don't see this being a free for all, something tells me it's more of a escort behind closed doors thing then a SW out in the open thing. The residences of Washtenaw County aren't going to put up with hookers on the corners of the streets and johns doing car dates in public.

This will definitely help with the selection of Ann Arbor escorts once the word gets out. Maybe it'll be like the good old days of backpage and Craigslist again. But in all honesty too the US is so behind the times when it comes to prostitution. There's absolutely no reason for it to be illegal.

Posts: 40Beat me by a minute. Yeah. Looks like the Ypsi / AA haunts may be getting more active soon. Wonder if the Det drags, especially on the west side (Warrendale, Inkster, Detford/Triangle, Airport, etc) will see a migration out of all the walkers.

I'm cool with that. Michigan should do the same.

Posts: 40From Yesterday's Triangle Area Closure
For those that may not have heard, someone took a potshot at four uncles yesterday morning near the 6-Tele intersection. Uncle had the area completely locked down. From that: https://www.fox2detroit.com/news/det...three-arrested.
Quote from the Cap: "Police officers were out here working hard, getting guns off the street and making the city safe and for no reason what so ever. ".
In a notel parking lot, waiting on a tow truck. Oh yeah, Mike. They were there for the guns. Right.

Posts: 259It's all about sex trafficking heavy penalties and adults that consent are just caught up in it. The same with the taking of your vehicle, as the law was originally designated for big time dope dealers to take their cars as I understand, but the police learned how to make it profitable for themselves, Again applying it to adult consenting people.

Posts: 259Just to mention something that this guy is charged with that many people have not even thought about in their own activities, I know many in this hobby making the mistake of getting a ride share or a taxi for a working girl, to bring them to their place, notel they are at or just because they got to know the provider and they asked if they would help them out with one, not realizing she was going to meet a John, and that is a 20 year felony transporting a prostitute.
