Long time lurker, and coming back to the hobby after about a year break. I originally stumbled into all of this after finding a nice ad for an independent Asian massage place on Craigslist back when they allowed ads. Not even sure if the HE's really existed in the world, I went and the lady knew it was my first time and was very accommodating and a bit more blunt on the rubbing and 'you like? You want?' on the flip. Then I realized this is real and amazing. Went to her for a year until she got pregnant and retired from the business. Then went on a bender for the next several months visiting all the Asian places on the west side and a few that seemed like sure things in Vancouver. Some hits, some misses, and others that could have been good, but maybe my inexperience was too obvious. I've since realized that all I have done is read about some basic moves that I do frequently (ie, rub her leg as she is massaging, allow her a little more access to the boys, and a little heavy breathing at the right times.) However, as I look back on my experiences, I realize that many girls treat things differently, and some just ignore all together (maybe too forward), I had an experience in Eugene when I was down on business one night where she just rubbed her tits on my head during the massage and a little dirty talk and was blatant about a tip loudly before I walked out the door. Once she wanted a tip before anything started. So then I got to thinking, I wonder if my process is actually 'normal', because I tend to treat it like a legit massage establishment. I walk in, pay for the 60 min massage, get naked, lay down and wait, she comes in does a crappy massage, 50/50% on whether they offer HE or DIY, 50/50% on utc touching, then they finish, walk out, I get dressed and leave a tip that I feel is appropriate on the table / nightstand usually under the light where they can immediately see it, say goodbye and leave. Is that how most of you do it? I don't mind leaving a tip as I get settled in, but of course I don't want to tip 60-100 on something that will end up being DIY in the end. I expect to pay. 6-7 for a hour massage, and then traditionally tip. 4 for DIY, . 6 for HE, and have never experienced BJ, BBJ or full service, although the place that I used to attend next to the home depot in Beaverton, I have definitely heard one of you loud boys pounding the shit out of one of the girls as I was getting my massage in the next room where me and my massage girl just giggled because it was so loud and obvious.

I would rather decline and not tip if offered DYI. I can do that at home. . 4 for the HE. . 6-. 8 for BJ / CBJ. For FS I prefer not to exceed $$ total, entrance + tip. Anything more then that you can go to a provider with a mattress.

Any info helps and I appreciate the feedback ahead of time. Just trying to get back into the hobby and tune my technique as to not waste money and make sure that proper amount and etiquette is followed to best stay inline with what everyone else is doing.

I went shortly after they reopened, don't remember who I had, but I definitely had HE option. Turned it down because I was looking for more and got it elsewhere. Had a good time there before prior to lock down as well.

When doing a google search, it looks like there are two places by home depot: the one across from the entrance and another further up the street. The one by the entrance looks like it has a security trailer of some kind in front, so I mistook it as a security agency. If you actually click it and read the description, you see that the address doesn't match the description.

I'm only aware of one on the same street as Home Depot. There's a Japanese spa that I believe is also on the same street but it's something entirely different. There is another massage place on the parallel street and across from Target. Those are the only two I'm aware of in that immediate area.

Honestly super reluctant to go to any spas. Some hardly change the sheets, think they do much else to sanitize the place?

In my recent visit to Angel that I reported on, I had to wait in the room about 20 minutes. I got undressed and wrapped the towel from the table around me. When she came in she laid the towel over me and started the massage. It wasn't long before the towel was laid to the side but it definitely got used. As I was finishing getting ready to leave she came in and neatly folded the towel and put it back on the table for the next customer.

Was thinking of trying out the new-to-me places like Naito and the table shower since I've never experienced a table shower and I've been seeing Naito's ads lately. Tried to make a visit just before lockdown but gave up from frustration of looking for parking in that area.

Like you I have been overly cautious and have stayed home and built myself a home gym and fixed up the house. Oh well more for your guys brave enough to partake. Last week, I visited my first spa in Slabtown, she was Chinese, seemed mid-twenties to me a cute girl that went by coco.A little spendy but was worth it imo.

Really has. I remember just a few years ago when even HE was hard to come by and Vancouver was the hot spot. Now just about every spot is a hit. You guys think COVID is opening up HE and options, like desperation?

For that place, think that's the going rate even pre-lock down. I haven't partake and only got HE the time I went months ago but I remember being quoted around that amount. Still a newbie myself in the hobby, that place was the first AMP I visited and I was definitely not prepared that time. LOL. Staying under 2 would be great. I still haven't gone back out yet, part being a little more cautious and part budget issues. I've joined the home Reno / repair during quarantine craze so my budget has been going towards that. I definitely need a massage though, work from home in not so ideal workspace has screwed up my back and legs.

I Prefer to stay under 2 for FS at a AMP but then I have not visited one since before all this happened so maybe prices have gone up for obvious reasons.
