Never put yourself in a position to eat the cost of a room due to a no-show or flake. I'm pretty good with the Marriott app. I'll wait until we're together. And book it on the app. Takes a minute. Eating $100-200 or more sucks.

I enjoy meeting people of varied nationalities and backgrounds. But we get ex-US scammers on SA (they vpn in with a US IP address) all the time wanting cash in advance. The broken English in the profiles is one clue.
