You have to think of "risk" in terms of statistics. If we assume that 1% of the population is carrying Sars-Cov2 (and that number is high), then if you were intimate with one "random" person, there is a 1% chance you may carry Sars-Cov2 (and only 20%-50% of carriers of Sars-Cov2 exhibit symptoms of COVID-19).
