STG DDOS and other sites update.
Although STG is 'partially' functional, they are still dropping packets all over the place so the site (as of this morning) is only partially usable. VERY long response times etc. I find the fact that listcrawler, escortalligator etc are completely unavailable from the US to be particularly troubling. (Those sites are forcing a 'popunder' redirection for anyone in US trying to use them. Canada, Europe etc work just fine so I have to assume it is deliberate.) I am wondering what the 'real' story is here. Is our illustrious government applying pressure to these site hosters in effort to shut them down? I have sent an inquiry to a couple of the hosting outfits asking about it. If I get a response, I will post it.
