When you do that you'll miss real providers that list locations like Wyoming, kentwood, or other local lingo. The local references are really your best clue, not Grand Rapids.

If you routinely monitor STG you should be able to eyeball the fakes (or at least the suspect ads) quickly. Crazy phone numbers, gmail as contact, weight in metric system, extremely cheap rates and stupid titles like "home alone" or sound like written by a foreigner are dead giveaways. Too perfect of pictures or those that look like stolen from online photo gallery should be highly suspect so do research.

Research tips are found in New Member Guide. It's simple and takes a couple minutes but you'll have your answer right away. Google the phone number "xxx-yyy-zzzz escort", search all names you find for her within this forum and do a reverse image search of all the pictures.

Seem to be so many scam ads on STG the real ones are hard to sort out. My key is the location, if not GR or even better a recognizable area of GR it is likely to be fake. Surely those with text me number or email address in location box are no good. Any other tips you have?

Too bad USA Classifieds is still down and did not really take off. Looks like CityX is gone. Anything you think will take the place of CityX?
