I agree. I think more of these ads are just looking to scam and rip us off. I doubt many are LEO. These bullshit ads have always been around but the problem seems to be a lot worse now then ever.

Not doubting your assumption that some of the ads may be LE, but SEVERAL of these ads can be found in multiple cities on the same dates and at close times. So, there's more reason to believe and validate that a large majority of these ads are straight out SPAMMERS with the main purpose of collecting and perhaps even selling phone numbers and email addresses to telemarketers who pay for this info.

And then there are some (of these ads) that are straight out SCAMMERS / RIP-OFF ARTISTS. These are typically the ones who are utilizing the new scam of requesting a "deposit" in order to confirm or secure a visit. And lastly, you still have a few ads that do have more of a local feel and appearance that clearly fit the profile of possible LE stings.

The ads have starting falling off just a bit, but they do appear to run in cycles on sites like STG and Listcrawler.

That's just my $0. 01 but what do I know.

Many of the old heads in this hobby know that this is nothing new and have come to expect the "spammers", the pranksters, the phone number & email collectors, the web marketers and the flat out scammers that prey on the uninformed who frequent the FREE membership escort sites. These web-predators, pranksters and con artists have been around for a long time and have plagued practically all of the FREE sites where there is or has been minimal moderation by an Administrator.

Many of the old heads on this site can recall similar spamming and scamming back to the days of Craiglist and Backpage. Some of you may even recall spam ads now and then on the old sites My Provider Guide, City Vibe and even back to Escorts (dot) com before they all went into the hobby abyss.

So, it's of no surprise when I see such ads come and go on most of the FREE escort posting sites like STG and Listcrawler. This is simply part of the free enterprise that exist on the web, and in this case escort posting sites with little to no moderation of what's posted and who posts it. Fortunately, these types of ads have little to no presence on most of the login type escort advertising sites or those sites where the ads go through an approval process.

Many of the so-called "providers" either don't have a clue about some of the other login / moderated sites, or they just don't like the idea of taking the time to create REAL ads and post better photos on the sites that moderate it's content. Thus, you see the flood of repeat ads from the same posters over and over and over again attempting to keep their ads "fresh" and close "to the top".

But enough of that. Now back to hobbying or whatever else you were doing.

Play Safe and just skim over the BS ads. They will eventually go away.
