Well, you're right, I did have another phone, but it crapped out. The reason the pics ended up at home is using Apple's icloud, the photo was sent to several laptops, a watch and a ipad. Clicking on "don't communicate with icloud devices" after the single shot was taken-and make no mistake, this woman who was pedaling her wares in front of me, started bouncing it like a ball. Obviously my balls wouldn't get any bounce, I felt, if I fought with her. I thought I'd just go home and delete pic from other devices, but I missed deleting from one laptop (usually, deleting email from the phone origination point deletes the messages from all other devices. But NOT once it hits iphoto storage apparently!

Have not looked into this for a while, but used to be the pics only get uploaded to the other devices when you are on wifi.

So make sure you turn off connecting to wifi until you delete the pic.
