One thing that's been common nowadays is the "I'm not actually in LA, I'm in xxxxx taking care of grandparents. I can send pics or vids!" And, many have been using the coronavirus as a reason not to meet (eg I'll definitely meet up when its all over, but until now, send me money for pics). Although this is definitely a legit reason, you really shouldn't be on that site if that is indeed the case.
